Let it be like water.

This myofascial release practice is part of my Foundations series. It's an overall practice for all areas of the body, following all the fascial lines. I really love these foundational practices because they tend to be very, very grounding and very releasing, both to tension in the body and on that autonomic level. I hope that at the end of this practice, you'll feel some of that relief and back to your center again.

We begin by awakening the hands and wrists, opening up the fascia around the joints, then travel through the spine, the hips, and into a big, spacious opening for the side body. We take our time. The more we go slow with the movement, the more your body is able to figure out what it needs.

Close your eyes and let the movement be like water. Your body knows how to do it. You don't have to try so hard. No other place to be, nothing else to do.
